Capture of Savannah

The Battle of Savannah began December 29,1778 it happened in Savannah,Georgia. The battle of Capture of Savannah was important because it held the city, against a British invasion force under the command of Lieutenant Archibald Campbell. The commanders of both the two sides were Robert Howe from the Continental Army, and Archibald Campbell from the British Army.  The battle was began with the first shot from British Army and they shot the gun to the Continental Army. The British Army won the American Revolutionary War. The casualties are that the Continental Army had 83 killed and had 11 wounded, and the British Army had 7 killed and had 17 wounded. That is all I learned about the Battle of Capture of Savannah.
